MedRIS, from its inception, was designed to integrate a full-featured practice management system with a powerful Electronic Medical Records (EMR) solution, allowing a practice to operate more efficiently, while going paperless. At every step of the patient encounter, MedRIS is saving vital information to the EMR, building a complete legal medical document repository for each patient.

Any patient document can be scanned and made part of the permanent record, so adding insurance forms, referral forms, insurance cards, etc. to the EMR is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3.

Series summaries can be imported from PACS to the EMR and stored in the MedRIS document repository for easy retrieval and online access.
